Roger has over 20 years of experience in HR technology and training and development.


He has directed the deployment of training and HR technology in global enterprise environments, creating industry-leading human capital management and development solutions for multifaceted, technically sophisticated corporations.

Director of HR Technology, Apple Computer
Roger developed and instituted a global strategy for HR systems and online tools. These included competency and learning management, HRIS, recruiting, leave management, compensation, call center management, employee records and HR policies and procedures.

Director of Technical Training, Charles Schwab & Co.
Roger developed web-based employee training strategies and the company's first comprehensive corporate intranet.

Vice President of Technical Training, Shearson Lehman Smith Barney
Leading the Technical Training and Development team, Roger developed customized instructor-led and online training for trading desks, operations, and IT.

Roger's background also includes work with non-profits. He was the Director of Adult Learning Programs, Queens Borough Public Library and served as a teacher at the YMCA Refugee Program.

Conversant in Spanish and Portuguese, Roger spent ten years abroad. In Rio de Janeiro, he coached executives at Citibank and Petrobras in preparation for work in the US. Prior to Brazil, he taught English to adults and high school students in Mexico City.

Roger earned his Bachelor of Arts from La Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico and holds teaching certificates from Las Américas and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City.
